Bronze & Gilt Mantel Clock. To the top of the case a small urn with lion carrying handles, supported by a caddy top, with relief and scroll work. Side handles held by the mouth of a Bronze face, gilt work to edges of case. 3½" dial with pierced centre, porcelain chapter ring, with blue Roman numerals. Above the 12 o'clock, fast/slow regulator. At 6 o'clock the chapter ring is signed. back plate of 8 day French movement, signed Midder & Sons. Stamped C.A.F. Number 1755. circa 1870. 15" high. 7¼ " wide. 6¼ " deep
