A French 4 glass Mantel clock, with brass and bevelled glass case, mottled marble to top and base of clock, with applied gilt foliage. The dial showing Arabic numerals, with a pierced gilt centre, fast and slow adjustment to the top of dial. A French 8 day movement, striking to a bell, deadbeat escapement, having a compensating, mercury pendulum. Circa 1880. 12¾" high. 7½ " wide. 5½" deep
