A gilt French Mantel Clock, with sevres Porcelain plaques. The case showing a boy, holding a book in one hand, and a scribe in the other. The decorated dial with Roman numerals. French 8 day movement, outside countwheel. The mantel clock standing on a gilt base. Maker PH Monley 1870.
Size of clock only 12½ " high. 10½ " wide. 4¼ " deep
