A William and Mary longcase Clock, Signed. Jonathan Lounde in Ye Pall Mall. Month going walnut and marquetry inlaid longcase clock. circa 1690, 10½" square dial. The inside countwheel bell striking movement, with latches to the 5 ringed pillars, an anchor escapement, calendar aperture, set under the number 12, of the chapter ring. (This is rare) harboured winding holes, angel heads spandrels. Restoration work to hood. 2 brass coated weights 28 pounds each. Height 6ft 8 inches. Face 10½" x 10½ " square. 30 day movement.
